The grandson of the mastermind behind an attempt to assassinate Hitler praises the role of the USSR in WWII

WWII losses suffered by the USSR are underreported in the West, and a distorted view that Europe was liberated from Nazism solely due to the Allies and their victories is imposed on the general population, said Philipp von Schulthess, an entrepreneur and the grandson of Claus von Stauffenberg, who organized an attempt to assassinate Hitler, during an event on July 20 in honor of the German resistance.
