DPR, LPR report concentration of Kiev junta’s militants and hardware near ​​Gorlovka, Lugansk

According to the DPR intelligence, Kiev junta has redeployed artillery, tanks, IFVs (infantry fighting vehicles) and APCs (armored personnel carriers), up to 30 pieces of military hardware in total, as well as punitive troops to the area of Gorlovka. “These actions clearly indicate militants’ intention to destroy the emerging sprouts of fragile peace,” Donetsk News Agency quotes a representative of Donetsk People’s Republic Ministry of Defense.

Kiev junta TV channel journalist flees to Lugansk People’s Republic

Ukrainian journalist Alla Grushko, who used to work on one of Lugansk TV channels and left to the Nazi-controlled Severodonetsk city when Kiev junta launched the punitive operation in Donbass, quit her job and joined the Lugansk People’s Republic.

The channel belongs to a former Ukrainian Parliament MP. The policy of the channel depends on the position of the shareholders, founders and owners, and on the trend of all Ukrainian mass media. I just didn’t want to show any of this anymore,” she told to the journalists in Lugansk.

Former Kiev junta’s serviceman calls upon fellow military servicemen to side with LPR

Junta’s border guard sergeant Sergey Sergeev, who had voluntarily sided with LPR, has told that people from Donbass who serve in junta’s army and other defense and law enforcement agencies are treated with bias. Kiev is gathering forces at the contact line: updated information

The Ukrainian army’s commanders, as of August 20, have concentrated three strike groups at the contact line, according to DPR Deputy Defense Minister Eduard Basurin.

Five independent mechanized infantry brigades, two independent tank brigades, one air mobile brigade, one artillery brigade and a multiple-launch rocket system brigade are already gathered on the Mariupol axis. The strike group includes a total of 22,5 thousand of personnel, over 130 tanks, over 560 infantry fighting vehicles and APCs, 55 units of multiple-launch rocket systems, approximately 200 units of artillery guns and mortars and approximately 720 units of anti-tank weaponry.

According to Basurin, five independent mechanized infantry brigades, an independent tank brigade, two air mobile brigades, one “Tochka-U” tactical ballistic missile brigade, three artillery brigades and one multiple-launch rocket system brigade are already gathered on the Donetsk axis.
