Kurginyan: A revolt was being planned in Russia, expecting Putin’s assassination

26.12.2020, Moscow.

Strelkov’s fleeing from Slavyansk was part of a plan to prepare a revolt in Russia’s south with the physical elimination of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said in an interview to journalist Vladimir Solovyov on the Solovyov Live YouTube channel on December 24.

The Right to Oxygen. Part VII.

(If you haven’t already, please read Parts I, II, III, IV and V, VI first)

Having agreed with this [an anti-Putin conspiracy by the part of the Russian elite which agrees to merging with the West on inferior terms – translator’s note], the reader will immediately go down the well-traveled road from the notorious Washingtonian puppet-masters to the liberal pro-Western Russian elites. They’ll say that something similar happened on Bolotnaya Square in 2011-2012. It is what it is. Some threads of the conspiracy to overthrow Putin in order to guarantee Russia merging with the West on inferior terms and the victory of our local mutacapitalism have to stretch from the US to the extremely pro-Western part of our elite (AKA the anti-elite).

The Right to Oxygen. Part VI

(If you haven’t already, please read Parts I, II, III, IV and V first)

So, is a coup against Putin in the works? Is this work intensifying? Are real steps being taken in this direction? What is the nature of these steps and of the forces taking these steps? It is necessary to look for the answer to these analytical questions within our reality. Specifically, the focus of this reality is located in Donbass, as the site where history has awakened. Let us examine what is happening at this site. And within the specifics, let us find the universal, which we have just discussed. Let us find that which allows us to recognize the existence of a real conflict between mutacapitalism and capitalist classicism, between the “inferior merger elite” (or, the anti-elite) and that which we have called the counter-elite.

Koba: Three days in July 2014 in Donetsk. Part 2

Editor’s note: Yesterday was July 5, 2016. Exactly two years ago on that day DPR field commander Igor Strelkov surrendered Slavyansk, and another half of the territory of Donetsk People’s Republic, to Nazis and fled to Donetsk. He was supported by various groups and persons, from oligarchs like Konstantin Malofeev to occult fascists like Aleksandr Dugin. For some Strelkov’s betrayal meant large financial gains, other wanted Strelkov to surrender Donetsk, enter Rostov, start a mutiny and march on Moscow to capture the power in Russia. Some believed that Strelkov’s actions could provoke Russia to move its army into Donbass and, consequently, provoke NATO to clash with Russia there and start a large scale military conflict or even war. The fact is that two years ago half of population of Donetsk People’s Republic, who opposed the Nazi coup in Kiev, were betrayed by Strelkov and handed over to the Kiev’s Nazis. Another fact is that Strelkov, as he had himself later confessed, intended to surrender not just Slavyansk and other cities, but even Donetsk. However this disaster was prevented. The first-hand story of “Essence of Time” member Alan Mamiev aka “Koba” describes all details of this process.

On the following day happened that same famous press-conference of Sergei Kurginyan, the leader of “Essence of Time” movement, the press-conference that exploded the media not only in Donetsk, but in Russia as well. Guys from Donetsk “Essence of Time” cell were in touch with local journalists, they asked to comment on the situation, which drastically changed in the past 24 hours. We understood that there will be some sort of a provocation there, but Sergei Kurginyan decided to go to the press-conference no matter what. To be honest, we thought that Strelkov will come there himself. But he sent Pasha Gubarev and some other mister from his HQ.

Koba: Three days in July 2014 in Donetsk. Part 1

In mid-June 2014 I already made the final decision to go to Donetsk. It was already visible that a major war is starting there and it was getting harder to watch at this from the sidelines. My friends from Ossetia already actively participated in combat in “Vostok” battalion, the ill-fated storm of the airport already happened. The attention of the public was already drawn to Slavyansk. The “Russian Spring” was expanding and it seemed that we only need to wait a little longer and another part of Ukraine will repeat the fate of Crimea. The society was in lifted spirits. The understanding that history is being made in Donetsk right now was growing.

“Essence Of Time” combat unit. The Beginning. Liteyshik

Editor’s note: This is a new post in a series written by “Essence of Time” unit in Donbass members. The series will show the birth and the development of the unit in Donbass from its very start. It is a sort of a memoir-diary, which makes it even more important: The unit is not the only thing that was changing in the course of the war in Donbass. The people themselves, the members of the Ukrainian part of the “Essence of Time” organization, having faced such a colossal challenge as war, constantly under pressure on the frontline, never remain the same. Some became reporters, some became snipers, some became sappers. How did the people change in the course of these one and a half years? You can read their firsthand stories for yourself. This is the first part of the series: “The Beginning”. The previous article written by the commander of “Essence of Time” unit in Donbass can be found here. Below is the text written by one of the fighters – Liteyshik.

After the fascist coup in Ukraine we tried to wage our struggle, but in the absence of arms and in the city which was under junta’s blockade our struggle became less and less effective with every passing day. There was a need to start an armed revolt. However, very strange processes began to happen in the city that eventually led to its surrender. After that, there was no other way to continue our struggle than to go to Donetsk and fight there.
