French soldier has called on Macron to explain his arms deliveries to neo-Nazis

French authorities, led by President Emmanuel Macron, must explain the reasons for the weapons shipments to neo-Nazis from the Azov battalion (organization banned in Russia), said Adrien Bocquet, a former soldier who earlier visited Ukraine on a humanitarian mission, during the broadcast on Sud Radio on May 20.

Eyewitness: Russian prisoners of war in Ukraine get shot in the knee

The only war crimes in Ukraine were committed by the Azov battalion (organization banned in Russia).

On May 10, former serviceman Adrien Bocquet told French SudRadio about war crimes committed by the Ukrainian army, or more specifically, by the Azov battalion (organization banned in Russia). Bocquet was asked to go to Ukraine for 15 days and deliver humanitarian aid in the form of medical supplies.

Results of French presidential election: Is Macron’s victory convincing?

Chances are that the tactical defeat of Marine Le Pen will turn into a strategic success for the right-wing nationalist forces.

On April 24, the second round of presidential elections was held in France. The incumbent president, Emmanuel Macron, got 58.55% of the vote against 41.45% for Marine Le Pen. The voter turnout was quite high – 63.23% according to the French Ministry of the Interior.

European sanctions boomerang – and who wants to avoid it

On April 8, the authorities of the European Union (EU) approved another package of sanctions, already the fifth in a row. The new restrictions include a ban on granting access to EU ports to ships registered under the Russian flag, a ban on exports of semiconductors and a number of other goods, as well as a ban on imports of wood, cement, fertilizers, seafood and alcoholic beverages.
