Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Operations Command arranged the visit to the Donetsk Museum of the Great Patriotic War and an animated film screening in “Kinokult” movie theater for 30 children from front-line Luganskoye village of Petrovsky district, a representative of DPR Operation Command informed Donetsk News Agency on November 13th.
Academic Symphony Orchestra of Lugansk Academic Philharmonic Hall, with the conducteor Vladimir Zavodilenko from Donetsk People’s Republic, performed the concert “Masterpieces of Russian Music”, which included compositions of prominent Russian composers.
Russian State Film Fund handed the collection “Unknown Films about the Great Patriotic War” (Great Patriotic War is the name used to refer to the part of World War II which started with the invasion of Nazis into the Soviet Union and ended with the Red Banner over Reichstag and defeat of Nazis from the hands of the Soviet people – Editor) to Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). The screenings will take place in the Republic on September 5th-11th, the acting Minister of Culture of DPR Mikhail Zheltyakov said to the Donetsk News Agency Reporter on September 5th.
Painting masterpieces, the works of Aivazovsky, Shishkin, and Serebryakova, have been exhibited in the Republican Donetsk Museum of Art. The exhibition was opened on August 25th. It is dedicated to the Day of Donetsk city – August 27.
