Donetsk shelled by Ukrainian militants this night, civilian injured

Petrovsky district of Donetsk was shelled this night, a woman died, according to district administration head Maksim Zhukovsky.

We were shelled during the night. One woman was wounded in the stomach when she was outside. Nothing was damaged in the district.

The injured woman died, district administration representative added.

Donetsk shelled by Kiev’s punitive forces, one person dead

One person died in Petrovsky district shelling by the Kiev junta, according to Donetsk mayor’s office public affairs department.

Petrovsky district was shelled in the evening. One person died when a shell exploded on Krasnogorovskaya street.

Earlier the Donetsk People’s Republic Defense Ministry has informed that one person died and 12 were injured in the past 24 hours as a result of Kiev’s shelling of DPR territory.

Deynego: Poroshenko is trying to “remove” OSCE monitors from Donbass

The head of the junta Poroshenko is promoting the idea of deploying peacekeeping forces in Donbass in order to “remove” OSCE monitors from the region, according to the statement LPR envoy to Minsk talks Vladislav Deynego made during his press conference.

Peacekeepers is not what’s important for him (Poroshenko – ed.) – what’s important for him is to remove OSCE representatives, peacekeepers are supposed to replace OSCE.

DPR Defense Ministry: junta’s forces have fired 350 shells at the republic

The Ukrainian army has shelled DPR with 350 shells, including over a hundred artillery shells, according to DPR Defense Ministry

Kiev’s military has sanctioned shelling, aiming at DPR, 30 times in the past 24 hours. 164 82mm and 120mm mortar shells, 114 artillery shells and 72 tank shells were fired at the territory of the republic.

Viktor Anosov: Ukraine has tortured captured DPR militiamen

DPR militiamen who were released yesterday evening were tortured in captivity by the Ukrainian side, according to DPR Commandant’s Regiment Commander and Military Police commander Viktor Anosov.

The medical examination showed that all of the prisoners handed over to DPR by the Ukrainian side were tortured while being in Ukrainian captivity, one of them even had a heart attack.

DPR handed 11 POWs over to Ukraine, one refused to return

The second stage of POW (prisoner of war) exchange between Kiev and Donetsk People’s Republic is completed, Donetsk handed 11 militants over to Kiev, according to Donetsk News Agency.

The prisoners were handed over to the Ukrainian side on the territory between Aleksandrovka village and Maryinka town (Donetsk suburbs). The procedure was officially over at 11:00. Initially the Ukrainian side was supposed to receive 12 people, however, one of the fighters refused to return. The Ukrainian army representatives have agreed with this.

Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations: humanitarian aid is currently being offloaded to warehouses in Donetsk and Lugansk

Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations public affairs office is informing that a new, 37th shipment of humanitarian aid has been delivered to Donetsk and Lugansk.

The current shipment of humanitarian aid includes textbooks for the upcoming school year for the children of Donbass, as well as food products.

Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations convoys with humanitarian have arrived to Donetsk and Lugansk, the offloading of the cargo is about to start.

LPR authorities: junta’s military violated the ceasefire 10 times in the past 24 hours

RIA Novosti reports LPR People Militia’s official representative’s statement:

The Ukrainian army does not honor the ceasefire, having violated the ceasefire 10 times in the past 24 hours.

The directions of Veselogorovka, Sanzhirovka, Kalinovo, Oboznoye, the Prince Igor monument area were shelled. The Ukrainian army used 82mm and 120mm caliber mortars, tanks, 152mm and 122mm caliber artillery, ZU-23 anti-aircraft twin-barreled autocannons and automatic grenade launchers, according to People’s Militia. People were not harmed.
