LPR and DPR have no choice but to hold local elections in accordance with own laws

LPR and DPR will hold local elections in accordance with their own laws because Ukraine did not prepare a single document regarding the elections in Donbass which would be in accordance with the Minsk Agreement. This was stated by the head of the “Special Status” sociological center, Doctor of Political Sciences Aleksandr Protsenko.

Currently there is not a single regulation in Ukraine according to which holding elections in Donbass would be possible, and at the same time, which would correspond to the context of the Minsk agreements, said Aleksandr Protsenko.

Ukraine did not ‘take care’ of this part of its commitments,he added.

OSCE Representative on Freedom of Media urges to speed up the investigation into the murder of journalists in Ukraine

The OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja Mijatović noted the lack of progress in the investigations of murders and attacks on media workers in Ukraine.

Mijatović expressed concern regarding the stagnation in investigation of at least nine murders and numerous assaults on the media workers since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine,” the statement reads.

Dunja Mijatović also sent a letter to Pavel Klimkin, Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Fields cleared of landmines sown by farmers of DPR Shakhtersky district

Shakhtersky district farms has completed half of the autumn sowing already, according to the Shakhtersk district Department of Cooperation with Agricultural Producers head Elena Fedyushina.

The leaders in sowing are the best farms of Chelyuskintsev districts,Donbass” and “Rozovskaya Poultry“. They were the first to sow half of the cultivated land,” said Elena Fedyushina.

According to her, the winter crop in Shaktersky district will be increased on “over dozens of hectares.” “This will be possible thanks to the experts of Ministry of Emergency Situations who examined the area on the contact line and the fields exposed to shelling during the fighting. Now the fields are returned to agricultural use. Winter crops are among the most important parts of it“- said the head of department.

UN: Evidence on mass murder in Odessa mostly destroyed

United Nation states that the majority of evidence on the mass murder of civilians in Odessa on May 2, 2014, by radical Ukrainian Nazis is destroyed, according to UN Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Summary and Arbitrary Executions Christoph Heinz.

Many of pieces of evidence were destroyed directly after the events, it makes it very difficult to have a proper follow-up. And the processes of accountability have been extremely slow”, Heinz noted.

Kiev junta’s punitive forces have violated the ceasefire 7 times in the past 24 hours, according to DPR Deputy Defense Minister Eduard Basurin. 24 tank shells and 13 120mm caliber mortar shells were fired at the territory of Donetsk People’s Republic.

Staromikhaylovka township was shelled six times by tanks, mortars and small arms from the direction of Nazi-occupied Krasnogorovka. The punitive forces shelled Spartak village once.

Ukrainian Parliament agrees on arresting “Radical Party” MP

Ukrainian Parliament agreed on arresting the “Radical Party” member MP Igor Mosyichuk.

Earlier the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin stated that there is evidence of Mosyichuk committing grave crimes. “I ask to immediately allow the prosecution, detaining and arrest of People’s MP Mosyichuk. I bring the case to you for approval immediately, so that Mosyichuk would not escape,” Shokin stated in the Parliament.

The decision was approved by 262 MPs, with a required minimum of 226 votes.

Donetsk hospital came under fire from Kiev junta-occupied Peski village

Kuybyshev district of Donetsk Hospital №19 came under fire today by small arms from the direction of Nazi-occupied Peski village, according to Kuybyshevsky district administration head Ivan Prikhodko.

He added that the front of building, the windows and the ambulances were damaged. “There were no victims. Currently the amount of damage done to the medical institution is being estimated,” Prikhodko concluded.
