Russia’s adversaries are beginning to use unconventional methods of fighting, and the Ukrainian side with the West have an advantage in this kind of actions, said philosopher, political scientist, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on September 14 in an interview with the Belarusian ONT TV channel.
He explained that what’s happening around the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant is an example of such actions. According to the political scientist, the IAEA representatives are well aware of who strikes at the nuclear power plant. And these strikes will continue, because this is the means of nuclear blackmail, explained the expert.
“As soon as it becomes impossible to succeed through conventional ways, they launch the unconventional methods. And what happened in Kharkov is also an unconventional measure: this must be understood. (…) So, they will use everything – every possible ‘crooked’ method. And that’s where they have an advantage. Because within the framework of such a reality, our pro-Western elite is not going to break its bond with the West,” said Kurginyan.
In the current complicated situation, it’s becoming tiresome to hear whining about the progress of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, noted the analyst.
“And it’s because the situation is too serious, you know? Because clearly, it’s not about the troops losing, but about the strategy losing. And this strategy must be changed: carefully, in a delicate way, and entirely,” stresses the political scientist.
This strategy, manifested in a “limited contingent”, is a result of unwillingness to even question the existing perception in Russia over the past years with its “relaxed approach”, anti-mobilization and false confidence that “everything is just fine”, explained Kurginyan.
The political scientist is certain that if such a perception is not modified, then Russia cannot win in the large scale confrontation with the West that has already started, and will continue for decades.
