Kurginyan: The West needs a new alliance for a war with Russia, instead of NATO

13.07.2022, Aleksandrovskoye.

Today, building an alliance against Russia is a primary goal for the West, and NATO is an obstacle on this path, said political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on July 11 in the new issue of the program Destiny published on the movement’s YouTube channel.

Kurginyan is convinced that building a broader alliance against Russia, not just between Poland and Ukraine is vital for the West in order to deprive our country of its current advantage.

“If Ukraine joins Poland and then it becomes a slightly wider alliance  <…>  If such an alliance slightly expands, as it has been in history, our Black Sea Fleet won’t have the advantage over the fleet of such an alliance, there won’t be any advantage in terms of population,” explained the political scientist.

“And all the Western strategists are thinking about is how to build such an alliance,” emphasized Kurginyan.

Building such an alliance is greatly hindered by the existence of NATO since Western countries do not want a direct conflict between NATO and Russia, believes the political scientist.

“A war between NATO and Russia would be the last war of civilizations, everyone understands this. But, how about putting together something that would be able to pull it off. And everyone is scratching their heads: when do we have to fight the Russians?”, concluded Kurginyan.

According to the political scientist, the existing system of governance in the Russian Federation will not be able to withstand such an escalation of the conflict. Therefore, the system responds to the threats of aggravating the conflict with its unwillingness to recognize such a possibility and with the rhetoric that the West will get over this crazy phase, and peace agreements will soon be signed, pointed out Kurginyan.

However, the analyst is confident that peace agreements will not be signed. “What is it about? And who needs it?” questions Kurginyan.

Our politicians’ hopes that the West will come to its senses, realizing the damage from its own sanctions are futile, believes the political scientist.“Yes, they don’t give a damn about these damages to their population! This population will not vote for them during the elections? It will elect even more righteous leaders, who will crank up the steam in the bloodbath of the upcoming catastrophe even more,” summarized Kurginyan.
