25.06.2022, Severodonetsk.

On June 25, the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram that the civilians who had been held at the Azot plant as human shields by the militants of nationalist battalions had been successfully released from the basements.

According to Kadyrov, the territory east of the Northern Donets River was liberated from the Ukrainian army units.

“The entire area east of the Severny Donets River is under the control of Allied forces, these are: the residential sector and the industrial area of the city of Severodonetsk, including the Azot plant (all civilians used as human shields have been released from the basements), Severodonetsk airport, the village of Borovskoye,” the message reads.

Ukrainian Nazis mined the territory of the city while retreating. “They don’t care if a civilian or a child could step on them [mines],” the head of the Chechen Republic added.

The sappers are clearing the territory of the explosive devices. Not a single ammunition went off, Kadyrov specified.

Earlier, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko reported that the industrial zone of the Azot enterprise in Severodonetsk was fully taken under control by the forces of the LPR People’s Militia and the Russian Federation.
