The head of the public organization People’s Diplomats of Norway, Norwegian politician and businessman Hendrik Weber was expelled from the party and his wife was fired for his support of the independence of the DPR and LPR, the politician himself told reporters on June 6.

Weber said, “I was expelled from my party for supporting Mr. Putin’s decision to recognize the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. My wife lost her job because of my actions. How can you call this a free democratic West?”

According to him, there is pressure in the country on members of the elite, teachers, and university professors who are “trying to understand Russia’s point of view.” And for the past eight years, Western countries have been unwilling to notice what was happening in the Donbass, he added.

He noted that he had visited Donbass and seen the destroyed cities. “It is important to see history, it is important to see the line of events in order to understand what is happening now,” the politician said.
