Are the curators rushing Moldova to destabilize Russia?

25.05.2022, Kishinyov.

On May 24, on the birthday of Moldovan President Maia Sandu, officers of the Moldovan Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office and the Information and Security Service (a Moldovan security service, like the SBU [Security Service of Ukraine] in Ukraine) searched the house of Igor Dodon, the former president of the republic, a supporter of Moldova’s multi-vector policy and friendship with Russia and leader of the Socialist Party.

The search of Dodon’s house lasted more than eight hours and ended with his detention for 72 hours. Sandu herself was in the United States that day, where she is said to have spoken at Harvard University.

The pro-European forces in Moldova, led by Maia Sandu, with the support of the West, chose a path of political intolerance, terror and disregard for the Rule of Law as soon as they came to power.

First, they took over all the power structures, then they illegally arrested Prosecutor General Alexandru Stoianoglo, strengthened their positions and now began to destroy the opposition.

Crackdown on the opposition began in Gagauzia during the local elections and in Balti during the mayoral elections, where the authorities overstepped the democratic principles and laws and brought their own people to power.

After that, the persecution of heads of administrations from the leftist opposition began throughout the republic, and now Dodon has been arrested.

Dodon’s detention and searches were expected, he himself expected this. He has repeatedly stated this in public, saying that he was not afraid of the nationalists and would not leave his homeland.

In the light of the Ukrainian events, the Moldovan government is being rushed by its curators to create another sharply anti-Russian region. Dodon’s arrest is an attempt to weaken the opposition, which is resisting and preventing this development.

But on the other hand, the opposition will take advantage of the rude game of power and make Dodon a victim of the regime, around which all political forces will unite, because now it is not just a matter of political struggle, but a matter of a real survival and personal security.

The opposition has already begun to bring people to the streets of the country to protest. The hot phase of the political confrontation between the centrists, who want to save Moldova and the rightists, who are not interested at all in the people of Moldova or in Moldova itself, has begun.

This is not a typical political war, this is the establishment of a new world. Now their future and the future of the country depend on the Moldovan people. If they do not support Dodon today, tomorrow they will sit in the trenches, spilling their blood and the blood of their children, defending the geopolitical interests of the United States.
