LPR People's Militia: US and Polish instructors have supervised defence of Rubezhnoye

16.05.2022, Lugansk.

Evidence of the presence of foreign instructors from the USA and Poland in the town of Rubezhnoye has been found after inspecting the Ukrainian army’s positions, official representative of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) Ivan Filiponenko said, the agency’s press service reported on 16 May.

“An examination of the Ukrainian army’s positions near the Zarya chemical plant in Rubezhnoye found evidence of the presence of foreign instructors from the US and Poland, who were in charge of the operation to defend Rubezhnoye and the plant,” the statement reads.

In their testimonies, the captured soldiers describe the unscrupulousness and cowardice of the NATO instructors; they consider neither civilians of Donbass nor Ukrainian fighters as human. “They are the first to leave their positions, leaving untrained soldiers to their imminent death in order to save their own lives,” Filiponenko quoted the captives as saying.

On 13 May, LPR forces took control of the Zarya chemical plant in Rubezhnoye and completely mopped up the city’s industrial zone from Ukrainian militants.
