The West dreams about extending its conflict with Russia in order to prevent the latter from using its victory for establishing an alternative world order, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on April 28 on The Great Game program on Channel One.
“For the first time in the history of humanity a military conflict is taking place on an industrial territory full of various facilities using modern weapons. Nothing like what is happening here never took place before in human history. Such major conflicts took place during World War Two, but that was another era, with different weapons, on a different basis, and with different manpower,” Kurginyan explained.
He noted that all the Western think tanks have acknowledged that the Russian army has dealt with the initial situation, that it chose an optimal combat strategy, and that it can wage this combat for a long period. Therefore, the West will stake on extending the conflict and organizing provocations in order to blame Russia and thus prevent it from winning and establishing an alternative world order.
“What should we expect? Only an extension of the conflict. They dream about it every minute, every hour, and they want to supplement this with some really mean components to blame us in anything they like. In order to escalate it more and more. The objective has been declared: to prevent Russia from using its victory for establishing the world order it needs. This is the scope of the Great Game we are discussing,” Kurginyan said.
Previously, UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss urged to stop Russian President Vladimir Putin from claiming victory in Ukraine, and to use the war as a catalyst for a new world security order.
