Japan apologizes and excludes Ukrainian Nazis from the list of terrorists

09.04.2022, Tokio.

The Ukrainian Nazi Azov battalion (organization banned in Russia) was excluded by the Japan Security Service from the international terrorism list, the Japanese institution’s press service reports on April 9.

We regret that the Azov battalion (organization banned in Russia) was designated as a neo-Nazi organization in the ‘International Terrorism – 2021’ reference book”, the press service said.

It is indicated that the document does not actually contain an objective and independent assessment. According to the Security Service of Japan, the list is a set of data from Japanese and foreign media, as well as specialized institutions.

Earlier, militants of the Nazi Azov battalion (organization banned in Russia) spoke before the Greek parliament. The legislature condemned the Banderites’ speech and called it a “historical disgrace.” According to head of the SYRIZA party Alexis Tsipras, the Nazis do not have the right to speak in the Greek parliament.
