Kurginyan: While Russia relaxed, Ukraine has been pumped up with a dark ideology

06.04.2022, Moscow.

There is one domain in which Ukraine behaves with dark sinister genius – this is the domain of ideology and information, said philosopher, crisis analyst, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in his original broadcast the Meaning of the Game: Russian Destiny and the Will of History or What Russia is Fighting for in Ukraine published on the movement’s YouTube channel on April 5.

The analyst said that Ukraine is a country that has lost everything: its historical self-consciousness and economy. The country has bogged down in monstrous theft, has not created either a military-industrial complex or the appropriate equipment for the army. It behaves monstrously in culture, the media, anywhere. “But there is one domain in which Ukraine behaves with dark sinister genius – this is the ideological and informational domain,” Kurginyan stressed.

“Ukraine is a mono-ideological state that has adopted the monstrously dark Bandera ideology. But this dark, vile, anti-human, monstrous ultra-Nazi ideology was brilliantly developed by its creators, and refined, so to speak, to a technological checklist. And it was adopted one to one,” the philosopher explained.

In addition, according to Kurginyan, it turned out that there are about a million quite convinced people in the country who are ready to implement this ideology and connect it with the information sphere. And that’s a huge number.

And it’s not just that the leadership of Ukraine decided to do this.

The fact is that to carry out this dirtiness, they had not only magnificent checklists – I mean technological ones, created by all this Bandera scum, who very tenaciously reasoned about ‘what we will do when we come to power’, and got through – but also an ideological asset,” the analyst insists.

Sergey Kurginyan draws attention to the fact that, perhaps, these people are unintelligent, fanatical or insane, but they have been moving in the same Nazi ideological wake, and they were all needed to turn ideological chimeras into real ideological life.

“They were demanded and they were coherent enough to do that. Zealous, maybe stupid, any other adherents of this ideology were placed in almost every kindergarten and almost in every school, almost in every platoon of the Ukrainian army, in all governing bodies,” the analyst stressed.

According to Kurginyan, Ukraine is naturally an ideological state as it is. He specifies that

no matter how vile the enemy is, one should not underestimate his capabilities.

“The more vile it is, the more sinister it is, the more accurately we need to assess its capabilities. It (ideological work in Ukraine) has been done, it has been promoted persistently and invariantly over the past eight years in an ultra-radical, virtually totalitarian version,” Kurginyan warns.

The politician and philosopher do not claim that this ideology has led to the fact that everyone is equally enraged. It’s not that. There will always be sensible people who, in conditions of terror, will lie to the bottom. There are always people who are really sympathetic to Russia.

While the dark Bandera ideology has been nurtured in Ukraine, something else has reigned in Russia, the analyst says. In Russia, the relaxation has reigned – sometimes moderately patriotic, sometimes liberal-cosmopolitan. “Russia has not been purposefully ideologically and informationally prepared for any war.” It has been prepared for peaceful prosperity, for existence in some conditional very problematic consumer pleasure.

“And in this sense, Russia has been demagnetized, and the enemy has been magnetized. Which is quite logical in conditions when they want Russia to lose, and those who attack it to win. They are being pumped up accordingly to this idea. This pumping machine was combined for the first time in world history with the power of the so-called respectable Western states, a very considerable power. A fantastic explosive mixture has emerged, which, by the way, promises a lot of things in the future,” concludes Kurginyan.
