A new fair, democratic and multipolar world order will be constructed by Russia together with China and their allies, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on March 30 during a meeting with Wang Yi, Foreign Secretary, member of the State Council of China.
During the conversation, Lavrov emphasized that the Russian people “are interested in developing sustainable and consistent relations with China“. He directed attention to the fact that the leaders of both countries had previously agreed on this. The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that today Russians are considering “specific steps aimed at ensuring that all those agreements are consistently implemented“.
Lavrov argues that today Russia and China “are going through a very serious stage in the history of international relations.” He is sure that after its completion the international situation will become much clearer. And after that, “we will move together with you, together with others who are like-minded towards a multipolar, fair, democratic world order,” the Russian Foreign Minister added.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in the Chinese province of Tunxi to participate in the third ministerial conference of neighbors of Afghanistan. On the eve of the event, the minister intends to hold a series of meetings with representatives of the international community.
