The West is irrational in its desire to harm Russia. Opinion

The actions of the West toward Russia are irrational. They can be compared to the actions of a mentally insane person, said political scientist, Americanist Rafael Ordukhanian in a comment for Rossa Primavera News Agency.

Commenting on the anti-Russian sanctions measures, the political scientist stated, “We have to understand that this is neither economical, nor political, this is a psychiatric issue, take for example the statement of German Minister of Economy who suggests turning down the temperature in the houses to defeat Putin.”

The expert described this state of affairs as a “state of insanity.” Europe is not just losing its subjectivity, it becomes inadequate, says the expert, as well as the entire united West as a whole. They act illogically, contrary to the elementary considerations of their own benefit and to the detriment of the interests of their own citizens.

“Marx said that capitalist would do absolutely everything for 500% of profit; he turned out to be mistaken, because he meant real capitalists, and when inadequate people do it, they are ready to freeze themselves and their own people, even to drown, kill and do anything,” the expert explained.

According to Ordukhanian, the most terrible consequence of “this madhouse” for the West is not the growth of exchange prices of goods, but the fact that “people stop living according to human laws.”

“It’s a completely unrestrained desire to do something to us that they themselves don’t yet understand. This is what Russophobia is all about. It has nothing to do with politics, it is psychiatry,” says the expert.

The political analyst is convinced that Russia ought to understand that it is useless to talk to people in the West who are in this state.
