Political scientist: The West has built a new world of betrayal for profit

09.03.2022, Moscow.

With its policy, the West has built a world of betrayal for fast profit, which Russia will not accept, doctor of political sciences, expert of the Association of Military Political Scientists Andrey Koshkin told a correspondent of the Rossa Primavera News Agency on March 7.

“What they [in the West] make up for fast profit, being ready to betray all and everyone, is a new terrible world, of course, that they would like to build. But Russia lives by different laws. It has a different social and cultural code,” this is how Koshkin assessed the outcome of the Western policy.

According to Koshkin, Russia should have initiated its countermeasures against the unfriendly countries a long time ago. In particular, making a list of unfriendly countries and sanctions against them is long overdue.

“We should have imposed this list long ago. And these 48 states must feel that an unfriendly policy towards Russia in a global world, which is tied in the economic, social, humanitarian, political, and military aspects, is inappropriate,” the political scientist stressed.

On March 7, the government of the Russian Federation approved a list of 48 unfriendly countries, which included the USA, the UK, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and a number of the EU countries as well as some other West’s satellites.

The list of Western sanctions against Russia continues to grow. In particular, the USA announced that it stops importing Russian oil, which is about 3% of its market.

Germany is thinking over suspension of Russian gas supplies, but the decision has not been made yet. According to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, by 2035 the country plans to completely transfer to renewable energy sources.
