Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations delivers 300 tons of humanitarian aid to Donbass residents

A convoy of the Russian Don Rescue Center of the Emergency Situations Ministry delivered a humanitarian cargo to the DPR and LPR residents, the Center’s press service reported on March 6.

On March 6, a convoy of the Don Rescue Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry consisting of 33 vehicles and 50 rescuers delivered humanitarian aid to the residents of Donbass,” the report said.

The convoy was formed in the Rostov region. It is specified that the humanitarian cargo includes food and basic necessities. The total weight of the cargo is about 300 tons.

The transportation was organized in accordance with the international legislation on the delivery of humanitarian cargoes,” the report stresses.

Earlier it was reported that more than 6.5 thousand citizens evacuated from the DPR and LPR crossed the Russian border in the past 24 hours. Refugees first get to the Rostov region. Then some of them are transported to other Russian regions.
