Kiev loses control of several towns in Lugansk region

The People’s Militia of the LPR now controls the towns of Luganskaya, Krymskoye, and Markovka in Lugansk region, the Head of the Lugansk Joint Military Civilian Administration Sergey Gayday said on February 26.

According to Gayday, Kiev lost control over the towns of Luganskaya, Krymskoye, and Markovka.

At the same time, he urges the people living in the towns and villages to say near shelters as “situation can change any moment.”

In the morning of February 24, President of Russia Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation aimed at the demilitarization of Ukraine. Putin urged the Ukrainian military servicemen not to obey unlawful orders of the Kiev commanders and to lay down their arms.

The Russian Defense Ministry stressed that the Russian army’s aerial and artillery strikes do not target civilian infrastructure or residential buildings. High-precision weapons are used to destroy military infrastructure, anti-aircraft systems, and airbases.

The purpose of the Russian army’s operation in Ukraine, according to the Russian top officials, is the militarization and denazification of the Ukrainian regime.
