An existential issue for Russia is what pressure the West can afford after the recognition of the Donbass republics, said political scientist, philosopher, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in The Meaning of the Game broadcast published on YouTube on February 23.
“The real existential danger is not what is happening in the LDPR, not in the violence of the Nazi authorities against civilians who refuse to acknowledge their coup d’etat, but in what can take place in the configuration of forces on the great chess board.
In other words, whether missile systems are deployed in Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, and elsewhere, and how short of a flight to Moscow they will have,” Kurginyan explained.
He expressed confidence that the West will not de-escalate the degree of anti-Russia tension, but it will steadily increase it. Kurginyan stressed that the West deliberately allows the Bandera scum to unfold in Ukraine because it is frantically anti-Russian, it is making genocide against the Russian people, and it is ready to escalate it.
“This means that everything that is against the Russians is good. Who says this? The West. Is it going to stop doing so? No!” the political scientist explained.
However, Kurginyan stressed that the current Russian system, which was designed for integration into the West, has learned to reduce tension with the West, and it will fail as soon as the West refuses to allow such a reduction.
The leader of the Essence of Time movement expressed confidence that there are serious reasons to expect strong tension with the West, which makes fundamental transformation of the current system a crucial issue.
As the Rossa Primavera News Agency reported, President of Russia Vladimir Putin summoned an urgent meeting of the Security Council to discuss the issue of recognizing the Donbass republics.
Later, in an address to the people of Russia, the president announced the recognition of the independence of Donbass from Ukraine, and he signed treaties with the leader of the LPR and the DPR. On February 22, the State Duma and the Council of Federation upheld the decision.
