Political relations between Moscow and Washington should be reduced to a minimum, political scientist Rafael Ordukhanyan said to Rossa Primavera News Agency on November 29.
The atmosphere of relations between the US and Russia is now absolutely poisoned by Russophobia, the political scientist said. “In this situation, we should recall the ambassador and decrease the intensity of our political relations,” Ordukhanyan said.
“All other contacts related to Education, Sport, all this should be extended. The people should not suffer,” the expert suggested. In his opinion, the Kremlin should automatically issue visas to all US citizens to enter Russia, if there are no health restrictions or criminal activity.
“To promote economic relations, business projects, everything, but no contacts with these [authorities],” Ordukhanyan noted. Otherwise, he said, it will no longer be possible to conduct diplomacy with Washington, because there can be no dialogue with the current administration.
“The USA has become toxic as a subject of international law – it is an absolutely toxic country,” the expert stressed. He stressed that the White House is feverishly clinging to its lost former greatness and does not understand what is happening.
“They [the US] think it can mend relations this way, but in fact they now look like a querulous, angered old lady who didn’t get her hot chocolate in time,” the political scientist added.
On November 27, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov told the media that 27 Russian diplomats and their families will be forced to leave the United States on January 30, and an equal number of other members of the Russian diplomatic mission will leave the country on June 30 of next year.
