Physician calls registration of coronavirus vaccines for adolescents absurd

25.11.2021, Moscow.

Doctor Kirill Zverev, son of Russian Academy of Science and Russian Academy of Medical Science academician Vitaly Zverev, called the registration of coronavirus vaccines for adolescents just a few months after the trials began a complete absurdity in his conversation with Rossa Primavera News Agency on November 25.

“We are talking about children who practically do not get sick,” he emphasized. Zverev noted that children in general rarely show symptoms of coronavirus, and if they do, they have a mild course of illness.

He emphasized that any vaccine should be tested carefully, especially for children, because “any vaccine implies lifelong consequences.” Zverev said that in this case, we are talking about an untested vaccine, “Here we can talk about it boldly, because they started the trial in the summer.”

“I will not vaccinate my children in any way,” the doctor stressed.

He noted that he is an ardent supporter of vaccinations, but it is necessary to understand that the drugs can have negative consequences. “A vaccine is a serious drug that should act for the maximum amount of time,” the doctor stressed. He noted that the creators of the vaccine must first prove that the adenovirus is not carcinogenic. On November 24, the Ministry of Health registered the coronavirus vaccine for adolescents, Sputnik M. The drug is in the third stage of clinical trials.
