Kurginyan explains danger of ultra-vaccinator initiatives by Russian authorities

23.11.2021, Moscow.

Disturbing initiatives in vaccination promotion, which fly in the face of the directives by Russian President Vladimir Putin, are taking place, said political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on November 14 in his original broadcast “The Meaning of the Game.”

According to the political scientist, what is taking place in the country is increasingly disturbing in the political sense.

“A lady who, if my memory serves me well,  is a gynecologist by specialty, the head of a bureaucratic structure that is supposed to protect people from abuse by healthcare institutions, demands that her employees send reports to the prosecutor’s office about anyone questioning vaccination…” Sergey Kurginyan noted. “Charmante! We are witnessing a mockery of 1937, and we are encouraging all kinds of secret informing.” At the same time, the expert stressed that in Stalin’s period such initiatives were impossible, because the authorities responsible for national security were on alert.

The political scientist explained how the chain of instability is unfolding now. “Today, an ambiguous bureaucratic authority that has nothing to do with this issue is making these gestures. Tomorrow, a store chain will do it. Then someone else. Do you think we are strengthening the system? We are destroying it. What we are doing now is brazenly destroying the system.”

Further, Sergey Kurginyan suggested that these statements should be compared to what the president said about whether vaccination in Russia should be mandatory. “And because the President of Russia said that everything must be voluntary etc., then we should ask ourselves: do such demarches mean that some nervous ladies and gentlemen are saying to him ‘Get lost!’?” the political scientist wondered.

According to the expert, this is the logic of chaotic administrative abuse. And when the issue has been heated up, everything can take place, Sergey Kurginyan believes.

“This is a transition to finely dispersed initiatives. Stalin exterminated all creators of such initiatives, because he wanted to have a stable system,” the political scientist said, stressing that 1937 was disgusting, but it had at least some logic, while what is happening today is dangerous in its irrationality.

“1937 itself is disgusting. It is disgusting, indeed. It is even more disgusting because for every person who, in an idiotic rage, wanted to report something to security services there were three persons who wanted another room in a communal apartment. But it contained certain logic,” the political scientist explained. “But what is happening now is the logic of a chaotic escalating administrative abuse. And when the enemy and all its fifth column see that the situation is highly relevant and heated, anything can take place.”

On November 3, Medvstnik published a report that the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare ordered its territorial divisions to report about any participants of the anti-vaccination campaign to the investigation and prosecution authorities. The outlet referred to a letter of the authority distributed on November 1.

The letter recommended that special attention should be paid to physicians with a position opposing vaccination. This is supposed to be punished according to Article 207.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Public dissemination, under the guise of veracious messages, of knowingly false information about circumstances posing a threat to the life and safety of citizens, and (or) on measures taken to ensure the safety of population and territories, on methods and ways of protection against said circumstances” and according to Article 207.2 of the Russian Criminal Justice Code “Public dissemination, under the guise of veracious  messages, of knowingly false publicly significant information, where this entails grave consequences.” The former article can entail a prison term of up to three years, and the latter up to five years.
