The Russians will look coldly at the intensification of chaos in Ukraine, and when the chaos turns into some kind of madness, they will respond harshly, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on September 29 on the air of the Objectively program on the ONT channel of Belarus.
The host of the program asked whether Ukraine was lost to the Union State of Belarus and Russia. Kurginyan replied: “Ukraine will be used as a weapon against Russia under the guise of its activities against Donbass. But now against the Crimea also. I draw your attention again — ‘my brother Zelensky, we will be together’— this is all about the same attitude.”
“If Ukraine only moves in this direction, there will be geopolitical changes in the region. And I am just repeating here what the official authorities say: any attempt at genocide of Russians in Donbass will result in the end of the Ukrainian state,” the political scientist said.
Kurginyan also considered how this end of the Ukrainian statehood will look like:
“What the post-state phase will be is a different question…The Russians will never be the first to do it. But there is Nord Stream. They will look coldly at all this mess, at the intensification of chaos and an inner incapacity of Ukraine. And they will wait for the hour when this will end in some kind of madness. And the response to insanity will be very tough. But it will be an response, not a first strike. There will be no first strike.”
The political scientist also said that the UK will be engaged in much more aggressive opposition to the formation of the Union State between Russia and Belarus than the United States.
“If this madness happens, it will certainly be inspired from Great Britain. All these words: ‘if Putin gets sick, we will clean up Donbass in two weeks.’ You hear this nonsense all the time . Of course, to say so one must completely misunderstand how Russia works,” Kurginyan said.
The leader of the Essence of Time movement said that as a result of the current Ukrainian government’s actions, the policy associated with Zelensky is being destroyed. This is why the Ukrainian political space is being separated into two forces — radical nationalist and pro-Russian. These two forces will not be able to agree, which means that a conflict will begin inside Ukraine, which will then turn into a war.
