07.10.2021, Moscow.

Negotiations between Russia and the United States on strategic stability are important, but in the 21st century, the most dangerous thing is not nuclear weapons, Rossa Primavera News Agency editorial published on October 7 reads.

“Hybrid war,” which the United States is waging against its global competitors and even allies around the world, is no less dangerous for Russia.

Economic and political potential, the ability to use non-sovereign allies, and information warfare – so far this has helped the United States to win victories on the global stage. And they won’t give it up, even after any missile treaties.

“Giving up nuclear war does not at all mean giving up waging another type of war. When the USSR collapsed, not a single nuclear missile flew to its target and not a single bomber took off.

At the end of 2020, the US adopted a foreign policy based on the Global Fragility Strategy, according to which the USA will use all of its military, economic or diplomatic potential to defend its national interests and at the same time deter such countries as Russia, China and Iran.

At the same time, it is supposed to act not in the territory of the immediate enemy, but in third, so-called “fragile” countries.
