The Ukrainian army shelled Kalinovo village in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), the press service of the LPR representation to the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCСC) informed on October 2.
It is specified that the Ukrainian military began shelling at 07.50 a.m. from the area of Novozvanovka village. They fired six 120mm mortar shells at Kalinovo village.
“Information about casualties and damage is being clarified,” the report reads.
Earlier, it was reported that over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian side opened fire on the LPR villages four times. The enemy used recoilless anti-tank guns, automatic grenade launchers, anti-tank guided missiles and small arms. It was also noted that the Ukrainian military’s equipment was detected near Voytovo village.
