The essence of the agreements reached as a result of Zelensky’s visit to the United States is slightly veiled colonialism, the Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev told journalists on September 21, the Argumenty i Fakty newspaper informed.
Patrushev said that “Zelensky’s visit to Washington showed the real face of those who supposedly care about Ukraine’s well-being.”
In his opinion, all the agreements reached by Zelensky will only “benefit American business”, which will profit from Ukrainian projects without any competition.
This is “veiled colonialism,” said Patrushev, adding that it is being promoted at a time when the people of “Ukraine itself are actively presenting this anti-national policy as a movement toward the so-called progressive West.”
“And there are many of those who believe this propaganda!” Patrushev exclaimed with surprise.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is in the United States, in New York, where he expects to attend the UN General Assembly.
