The Russian Reconciliation Centre for Syria carried out more than three thousand humanitarian actions in Syria, a Centre’s bulletin reports on September 12.
According to the bulletin, “Total number of conducted humanitarian actions – 3022, total weight of delivered humanitarian cargo – 5281,2 tons”.
On September 9, a Russian soldier died in an explosion in Syria near Palmira, while Russian militaries were scouting a route in order to secure the delivery of humanitarian aid.
In July, a Russian military plane arrived in Damascus with 160 tons of aid on board. The cargo included the Sputnik Light coronavirus vaccine and 1 million tests for the COVID-19.
