Kurginyan: Russian young people will perish without higher meanings

04.08.2021, Moscow.

The contemporary young people in Russia and elsewhere are going mad because of a lack of meanings, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on July 31 in a new issue of The Meaning of the Game broadcast published in the movement’s YouTube channel.

Having spoken about how the CIA-led security services in the USA and Europe corrupted young people, he noted, “Something similar is taking place with the left-wing youth in Russia today, as well as with other youth groups, which are going mad because they lack the meanings they need and because of their meaningless philistine life. And in this madness the only thing they can do is go around the streets screaming ‘You bitches!’”

He noted that these young people actually do not care for Navalny, because be fails to offer any meanings either. “They just need to do enough yelling by expressing to the air around them that they are dying, dying, dying. Then they begin to actually die. All the ways to perish are offered to them in the form of trivial, easily achieved temptations, which they immediately use,” Sergey Kurginyan explained.

The leader of Essence of Time noted that the pseudoleftists in Russia are actually “terribly mutilated in the human sense. They have been turned into a sick, slippery, destructive substance. Simply speaking, they are very, very sick and unhappy people,” who need to be saved instead of being counted on as saviors of the country.

“Marx warned that in the end of the bourgeoisie game, only the beast in Man will remain unalienated. This is exactly what has happened,” Sergey Kurginyan said about young people with spiritual demands.

“The Essence of Time movement urges everyone who feels concerned over this kind of a process, and the elder generation first of all, to rack their brains and understand that they must save the children, not shrug their shoulders complaining that the youth do not want to listen to them,” the leader of the movement said.

Sergey Kurginyan believes that this salvation cannot be made through direct bans, which can only exacerbate the situation. “If the higher meaning continues to be exterminated for the sake of the triumph of a pan-physiological philistine life, then first the young people lacking the meaning will be lost, and then destruction of the philistine life itself will follow. The latter’s immunity to degradation should not be overestimated,” the political scientist and philosopher said.

He urged to stop speculations that the leftist movement in Russia will be its savior, because there is no place it is saving anyone, and to look around to see what is taking place and to try to make a contribution to saving the young people, and consequently the country.
