Three Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) servicemen were killed as a result of a ceasefire violation by the Ukrainian army, the DPR People’s Militia said on July 29, the Donetsk News Agency reports.
“With a sense of profound grief we are informing that as a result of the shelling, three defenders of our republic were killed, one with multiple shrapnel wounds was taken to a hospital in the city of Donetsk. We express our sincere condolences to the families and friends of those servicemen who were killed,” said the ministry in a statement.
The DPR People’s Militia clarified that in response to this aggression, the DPR undertook the countermeasures. As a result, three Ukrainian militants were wounded.
Thus, the People’s Militia representatives draw the international observers’ attention to “another fact of the ceasefire violation by the Ukrainian invaders.” Also, the People’s Militia calls on international observers to record the deaths and injuries of DPR servicemen and “to get the Ukrainian side to strictly comply with the existing agreements and to renounce military escalation of the conflict.”
