Belarus is in full solidarity with Cuba in defending its sovereignty and independence, as well as in dealing with external pressure. This was stated by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko in his greetings to Cuban President Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermúdez and the Cuban people on July 26, reports the press service of the Belarusian leader.
According to Lukashenko, Belarus fully supports Cuba on the way to defend the state in the face of external pressure. In this regard, he said that Belarus will always support the people of Cuba.
“Your country’s own course of development, based on the high principles proclaimed by the Cuban revolution, continues to inspire millions of people around the world,” the congratulatory address reads.
The congratulatory address also reads that the current cooperation between the two countries, including the work of the two governments to “intensify trade, economic and scientific and technical cooperation,” fully meets the interests of Havana and Minsk and has the potential to develop.
