The Ukrainian military fired six mortar shells on the outskirts of Donetsk, a representative of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination stated on July 23.
“At 4.40 a.m. (Moscow time), shelling by Ukrainian armed formations in the direction of the settlement of Veseloye was reported. Six 120mm mortar shells were fired,” said a representative of the DPR representative.
On July 21, the Ukrainian army opened fire on the Donetsk and Mariupol directions. Veseloye and Krasny Oktyabr villages were most intensively shelled.
On July 20, the Ukrainian military fired on DNR villages six times. The Ukrainian military used weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements – 120mm mortars, and various grenade launchers were also used. The Ukrainian army’s units opened fire on Zaytsevo (southern part), Aleksandrovka, Lozovoye, Bezimyannoye and Novolaspa villages.
