A Ukrainian reconnaissance group attacked an observation post of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), representative of the press service of the LPR People’s Militia Ivan Filiponenko said, as the REGNUM news agency informed on June 11.

“On June 11, a reconnaissance group of the separate Center for Special Operations ‘West’ (formerly the 8th special operation regiment of the Ukrainian army’s Center for Special Operations) cold-bloodedly killed five militiamen at an observation post of the People’s Militia near the Lugansk People’s Republic’s Golubovskoye village,” Filiponenko said.

Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group Leonid Kravchuk quoted Ukrainian writer Oles Gonchar, who suggested “cutting out Donbass like a cancerous tumor.” Kravchuk is convinced that this is necessary for the development of Ukraine as a free state. The Russian Foreign Ministry described such a statement as “being preposterous.”
