A representative of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) accused the Ukrainian army of shelling the objects of civil infrastructure, the Lugansk Information Center informed on June 1.
“A school and a kindergarten were shelled in Zolotoye-5 yesterday. The Ukrainian army opened fire exactly in the daytime when there were children. It’s just lucky that not a single child was injured,” LPR representative on humanitarian affairs Olga Kobtseva said.
She noted that the incident occurred on the eve of International Children’s Day. “Despite all the festive moods, I have to highlight the far from festive situation along the contact line,” the LPR representative said.
Kobtseva stressed that the Ukrainian army is schools and kindergartens while children are there.
Earlier, representatives of the Donetsk People’s Republic accused the Ukrainian army of shelling the outskirts of Gorlovka.
