Contemporary capitalism will produce more tragedies like the one in Kazan

15.05.2021, Moscow.

Failure to resist deadly trends that contemporary capitalism demonstrates will only lead to more tragedies like the one that took place on May 11 in the Kazan school, philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on May 11 in his video address “Why the authorities are weak, and what can the people of Russia do?”

The political scientist discussed what led to tragedy in School No. 175 in Kazan. This young shooter is completely a product of the contemporary Russia, raised by the education system we have today, he noted.

“We have the right to oppose the coming enemy of humanity, and we must do it, but we must call this enemy by its name. Not only in metaphysical and religious terms, but in secular ones as well. This name is capitalism of the end times, and it is nothing but this,” Sergey Kurginyan said.

The philosopher believes that capitalism in its current form is a deadly threat to humanity as its only intention is to hold onto power. Capitalism has conquered the globe by defeating the Soviet Union, and all the countries led by the West are marching in one column towards elimination.

“This is one column, which is ‘marschieren’ (German: marching) towards the end times. This is broken normative grids, this is continuous extensive production of scum like the one you see. There are many of them, too many, and there will be even more,” Kurginyan stressed.

On May 11, 2021, a 19 year old young man brought a hunting shotgun to School No. 175 in Kazan, and he opened fire, killing nine people: seven 8th grade students and two adults. Another 18 children are in hospitals with severe wounds.

Police has detained the shooter, a former student of the school named Ilnaz Galyaviev. He used a legally owned 12-gauge hunting shotgun.
