Ukrainian militants violate ceasefire in Donbass twice over 24 hours

The Ukrainian armed units opened fire on the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) twice over the past 24 hours, a DPR representative to the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCCC) in Donbass reported on May 13.

According to the DPR representative, between 3 a.m. on May 12 and 3 a.m. on May 13, Ukrainian military opened fire on the Mariupol direction. The enemy fired 7 82mm mortar shells. The Ukrainian armed units fired 10 grenades from automatic grenade launcher. In addition, Ukrainian armed units used small arms.

Grigirovka and Novaya Maryevka villages came under fire. There is no information about civilian casualties or damage of civilian infrastructure.

Earlier, the DPR People’s Militia reported that Ukrainian security forces placed over 20 mines on one of the roads near the contact line.
