Russia has been designated as the aggressor regardless of what scenario takes place in Donbass, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time social-political movement Sergey Kurginyan said on April 11 on the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on the Russia One channel.
Discussing the concentration of Ukrainian military equipment at the border of the DPR, Kurginyan noted that the West has already appointed Russia as the aggressor.
“Even if Ukrainian tanks, or Krivonos’ [general of the Ukrainian Army ― Rossa Primavera News Agency] and the Right Sector (organization banned in Russia) tanks, break into Donetsk and begin atrocities there, and we say, ‘We are peaceful people, we are peaceful people,’ even in this case they will say, ‘You are a failed aggressor, and this [Ukrainian attack] is a noble Ukrainian response,’” he said.
The political scientist added that Russia “will have no chance to avoid being the aggressor” unless it has a diplomatic solution.
“I only have to mention that certain behind-the-scenes diplomacy always exists. It may happen that bribes or some highly flexible ambiguous operations by US-based operators will allows us to escape a global catastrophe,” the leader of the Essence of Time movement explained.
“We can become either a failed aggressor or a successful terrible aggressor, and there is no third option. They will make us aggressors in any event. If we dress all our servicemen in white and give them flowers to hold in their hands, even then we will be aggressors. They’ll say, ‘This is a secret operation, there is chemical weapon in the flowers,’” Kurginyan believes.
Previously, on April 10, General Krivonos of the Ukrainian army said that it must be prepared for any aggressive actions by Russia, which is allegedly planning to attack major Ukrainian cities.
Over recent days, a serious exacerbation has taken place along the Donbass defense line. The Ukrainian army is intensely shelling positions and peaceful towns and villages in the DPR and the LPR, and it is concentrating significant military forces and heavy equipment at the contact line. According to experts, a major armed conflict between Ukraine backed by its supervisors and the defenders of Donbass is coming.
