Kurginyan suggests response to Ukraine's aggression: Deliver one decisive blow

15.04.2021, Moscow.

Russia should give the hardest military response to Ukraine in the event of its aggression to prevent the deployment of NATO missiles on its borders, political scientist and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on April 11 on the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on the Russia One TV channel.

“The only thing that Russia can do at the moment when (God forbid!) aggression begins is to strike once so that after that it will be possible to rearrange the entire world on its western border. Russia has no other choice,” the political scientist said.

According to Kurginyan, Russia will be declared an aggressor no matter what it does, and if it “gives a weak response, [the West] will react the same way as if it gave powerful response.”

“We can’t have missile launchers in Kharkov or Dnepropetrovsk. We would lose the war immediately, without a war,” Kurginyan noted.

According to the political scientist, if the Ukrainian army attempts to organize genocide in Donbass, Russia’s response should be given “once,” but “with the use of anything but nuclear weapons.”

“If a new Srebrenica really arises … it is necessary to deliver such a blow that Transnistria and the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics are reunited. We really need to respond in earnest,” the expert stressed.

According to Kurginyan, a hard and fast response from Russia will cause “howls for twenty years” and “very serious sanctions,” but no one will dare to start a world war over Ukraine.

“After that one has to firmly understand that NATO will be on the other side of the border. In twenty-four hours. But there will be no world war. There will be very serious sanctions. There will be a howling for twenty years. But we would then at least not receive all that nasty things for free. We would get something. We would get a new geopolitical position,” the Essence of Time leader concluded.
