Kurginyan: US is forcing Russia into cold war

09.04.2021, Moscow.

The USA is forcing Russia and China into a new cold war, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time social-political movement Sergey Kurginyan said on April 4 on the air of the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on the Russia One channel.

The expert referenced the wave of the so-called “Arab Spring”, which attacked Middle East states with modernization-oriented regimes that relied on rather tough measures. This process used the Muslim Brotherhood (organization banned in Russia), which is backed by British intelligence as its driving force.

“But what will the Muslim Brotherhood (organization banned in Russia) do, what will they want next? They will want a caliphate. What is the origin of the Muslim Brotherhood (organization banned in Russia)? What was the first mosque of the Muslim Brotherhood (organization banned in Russia) and who began its construction? Lord Cromer built it in the Suez Canal zone. I can list the names of the British intelligence officers who created this organization,” the political scientist explained.

Sergey Kurginyan noted that Islamist movements were created not to let them run free. He also reminded that the President of Turkey Erdoğan is dependent in a similar way from British intelligence and its director Richard Moore.

“This means that all this fictitious Islamism has always been controlled. It remains on certain leashes and aimed against certain people. Yes, sometimes it goes off the leash. However, it remains unclear whether it really went off the leash or something else happened in 2001. But most importantly, as soon as they [the West] say that authoritarian states are their enemies, they immediately unleash chaos; they let this genie out of the bottle. This means they need it. Therefore, it will escape,” Kurginyan explained.

The political scientist indicated that the West follows the same approach towards the Uighurs, the Shiite Muslims from the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region in China. The main goal of supporting the radical minority is to undermine China’s stability.

“Apparently, the thesis that ‘We are moving towards an authoritarian world against the democratic world’ alone is a return to a binary ideological world, i.e. to a cold war world, with Russia and China being forced into this cold war, although they do not want to do anything like that at all and therefore feel astounded,” Kurginyan summarized.
