The ideological confrontation between “democratic” and “authoritarian” states, imposed by the United States, threatens to plunge the world into chaos, political scientist, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on April 4 on the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on the Russia One TV channel.
“As soon as the authoritarian states, as the United States calls them, disappear in the Middle East and in other parts of the globe, where people want to modernize and develop [its countries], to overtake [other states], and, by the way, to suppress archaicism with the help of such state structures, archaicism in all its forms immediately begins to develop. This happens everywhere. There is no unified Libya – there is tribal strife. There is no unified Syria. There is not and will not be a unified Iraq. And why, why is that needed? So, this archaicity is encouraged, the modernization of the periphery is destroyed, and then a kind of chaotic world built on permanent strife emerges,” Essence of Time’s leader explained.
The expert recalled of the overthrow of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, the war of the West against al-Assad in Syria, the elimination of Libyan Jamahiriya leader Muammar Gaddafi. These leaders were oriented toward the West and acted in line with the modernization of their state.
The political scientist believes that the division of the world’s countries into “authoritarian” and “democratic” is a return to the ideological confrontation in the world, which is “one of the conditions of the Cold War.” Kurginyan pointed out that in this case, all US allies outside the Western world become enemies and vice versa.
“Everyone said that we can no longer have a cold war, because what is a ‘classic’ cold war – it is when there is communism and capitalism, the struggle between two systems, two ideologies. Well, here it is, we already have it. Here you have the conflict of ideologies. There you go. They talk about it very seriously. They started talking about it a long time ago. This is all the talks about how everything is changing in the Middle East – that those who were friends will become enemies, and vice versa. The policy of Reagan – according to which one’s certainly a dictator, but he’s our dictator, our son of a bitch – is canceled,” said the political analyst.
The expert noted that the inauguration of US President Joe Biden, associated with the election scandal and the coronavirus hysteria, required a political entity that is ready to change the world quickly and drastically.
“We can see that they elected a man who is obviously unhealthy, incapable of any such particularly assertive resolute activity. So, he was needed in order to cover up some other person or group of people who are going to change all this under his cover,” Kurginyan explained.
