The Ukrainian military shelled the outskirts of Veseloye village in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) using mortars, the DPR representation to the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCCC) informed on April 8.
The shelling began at 7.13 a.m. (Moscow time zone). A total of 12 120mm mortar shells were fired from the direction of Opytnoye village.
There is no information about casualties or destructions.
The situation in Donbass has been deteriorating since February. Ukrainian shelling of the DPR and LPR has become more frequent. Kiev continues to draw up weapons and equipment to the contact line.
