The Ukrainian authorities are ready to start a war in Donbass, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on April 3 on the Right to Know! program on the TVC channel.
“I cannot understand, why anyone would deploy 500 or 750 units [of armored vehicles ― Rossa Primavera News Agency] to the border if not to start a war?! Just to take a ride? To steal some fuel? What is it all about? A flow of fuel trucks is going every day to supply fuel for the tanks,” Kurginyan wonders.
The analyst stressed that details of plans of the Ukrainian military to attack the Donbass republics and the Russian territory in Crimea have become public.
“If 750 armored vehicles rush off, they will make so much trouble in Donetsk that we will get into a very serious political and psychological situation even if we respond,” Sergey Kurginyan believes.
According to the leader of the Essence of Time movement, this kind of a scenario makes the Russian government prepare a response to the Ukrainian authorities’ provocative actions and take proactive measures.
“We are ready to a certain extent. I just do not understand how one can throw around blame here, because we are not the ones who began to pull in the equipment,” Kurginyan stressed.
