Ukrainian army shells the area of former Donetsk airport using mortars

The Ukrainian military fired more than 20 mortar shells on Zhabunki village, the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCCC) informed on April 1.

The JCCCC informed that the shelling of Zhabunki village took place at 4.36 p.m (local time). The fire came from Peski village under the control of the Ukrainian army. During the shelling, 120mm mortar shells were fired.

There is no information about casualties or damages.

Since July 27, 2020 in the conflict zone in Donbass additional measures to observe the ceasefire are in force. Within the framework of the additional measures, it is forbidden to use any weapons, deploy military equipment, use drones or carry out any military engineering work in the conflict zone.
