29.03.2021, Shchastye.

Exercises to counter sabotage and terrorist threats will be held on March 30–31 in Shchastye town under the control of Ukraine, the press service of the Ukrainian Joint Forces Operation Headquarters wrote on Facebook on March 29.

The Ukrainian army is planning to conduct the exercise with the participation of regional antiterrorist units. Since it is planned to hold realistic training exercises, the SBU urged the residents of Shchastye to “understand the possible inconveniences, remain calm and observe the rules of personal safety.”

Residents were asked not to go out into the streets without an absolute necessity. Those who need to go out, need to carry documents. Also, residents were urged to report to the appropriate authorities in case of detection of suspicious items or suspicious persons involved in subversive and reconnaissance activities.

On February 11, exercises were also held downtown Kharkov. Traffic was blocked and streets were patrolled by men in camouflage armed with submachine guns.

On March 26, Ukrainian representatives at the Trilateral Contact Group reported that four Ukrainian army’s militants were killed and two are injured as a result of a shelling allegedly conducted by the servicemen of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). The DPR representatives denied this information, stating that the Ukrainian servicemen blew themselves up on their own mines during a check of a minefield.
