German political scientist tells who is behind Biden's attack on Putin

20.03.2021, Moscow.

The verbal attack of US President Joe Biden against Russian President Vladimir Putin marks the beginning of a new US crusade against “dictators,” “autocrats,” “tyrants,” and “non-liberals” of the world order, German political scientist Alexander Rahr wrote on March 19 on his Telegram Channel.

Rahr commented on the Russian leader’s previous statement that Russia “should pursue its relations with Washington, but only on condition that we hold the discussion with the US president online, live.”

According to Rahr, this is a tactically correct step on the part of the Russian leader, since Putin would win a verbal duel with Biden.

In this regard, Rahr suggests that the White House will likely not accept Putin’s challenge with justification, “everything the Kremlin says is pure ‘propaganda.”

“The West has long regarded ‘its truth’ as the only true truth, and other, alternative visions as sheer propaganda. That is the problem with the West: excessive arrogance. And the world consists of many cultures, not only Western,” the political scientist noted.

The expert is convinced that there are certain forces behind Biden’s provocation against Putin.

“This is the American ‘deep state.’ It celebrates the victory over Trump, who was its internal enemy. Its hands are untied. And it is now bonding with similar ‘deep states’ of the leading European countries in a “holy” liberal alliance. They do not want China and Russia to play any role in globalization of the world,” Rahr concluded.

On March 17, 2021, US President Joseph Biden answered in the affirmative to ABC News correspondent George Stephanopoulos’ question whether Russian President Vladimir Putin is a murderer.

“So you know Vladimir Putin. You think he’s a killer?” Stephanopoulos asked.

“Uh-huh. I do.” Biden replied, a little hesitantly.

On March 18, the Russian president commented on US President Joe Biden’s harsh remarks about him, wishing the American leader well. “When we used to argue with each other in the yard as kids, we used to say this, ‘I’m rubber you’re glue, your words bounce off me and stick to you.’ And that’s not just a kid’s saying or a joke. The meaning is very deep,” Putin added. The Russian leader then proposed holding a live discussion with the US president.
