Attempts to arrange a color revolution in China may be made as early as this year, oriental studies expert Nikolay Vavilov said on March 15 on his YouTube channel.
The expert noted, commenting on the recent statement of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi that China and Russia should jointly fight against colored revolutions, that it was not made for nothing and has a certain political meaning.
“This is the kind of political phenomenon that has to do with the struggle of sovereign forces led by Xi Jinping’s pro-army group and the pro-US group in the Young Communist League of China, which is getting unprecedented support now because of the rise to power of the US Democratic Party. The later supported the Young Communist League of China for all the last hundred years,” Vavilov noted.
He added that this kind of statement from a high-ranking politician like Wang Yi looks like a bolt from the blue. Before him, however, Party Committee Secretary of the Chinese Ministry of Public Security Zhao Kezhi advanced a similar idea.
“Xi Jinping defeated and destroyed the possibility of a color revolution in China associated with the lockdowns of Chinese cities, actually organized by the Young Communist League of China top officials and directly by the local authorities of administrative districts,” Vavilov continued.
Although the Chinese president had eliminated the possibility of a color revolution in China at an earlier stage, which had been prepared with the help of “lockdowns” of cities amid the outbreak of a new coronavirus that erupted in Wuhan in early 2020, the possibility of such an outcome remains in the future. And the basis of both socio-economic and political discontent is being prepared for it.
