The heroic Victory of the Russian people in the Great Patriotic War is an indisputable fact, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on February 21 on the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program on the Russia One channel.
He reminded that this heroic deed was thoroughly planned, admirably prepared, and brilliantly executed.
The factories that were evacuated to the Urals and Siberia were relocated within a few months. But they could not be simply put on the ground, because a machine needs a vibration protection base to operate. This means that site preparation works for these new plants were performed earlier in 1940 and 1941, Kurginyan explained.
“And everyone clearly understood that these facilities would be evacuated. They knew it very well ― although they spoke about a fast war ― that the war would be long and exhausting. And everyone knew very well that we were fighting against all of Europe and the whole world,” the political scientist continued.
He stressed that the Soviet Union’s victory in the Great Patriotic War was a work of genius. A speculation whether any mistakes were made is silly, because there is no war without mistakes.
“The Russians won like no one had done before. And they astonished the world. All those numerous servile letters by Roosevelt, Churchill, etc. saying ‘Oh my God! Amiracle! TheRussianmiracle!..’” Kurginyan noted.
However, it has turned out that among the Russians there are people who insult their own heroic deed, he added. “At a very ‘appropriate’ moment, in the run up to a new cold war,” the political scientist concluded.
