Kurginyan: Declaring vaccination to be a panacea is ignorance

27.01.2021, Moscow.

Attempts to present vaccination as the only means of saving people from COVID-19 and to ignore alternative scientific positions are shamefully ignorant, political scientist, philosopher, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said in the latest broadcast of his analytical program The Meaning of the Game, released on January 24 on YouTube channel.

Kurginyan quoted the famous French virologist and Nobel laureate Luc Montagnier, who said that vaccinations against the coronavirus with RNA vaccines can have unpredictable consequences for humans and, moreover, can affect the health of future generations.

“Maybe he’s wrong – refute it. Or maybe he’s right – take that into account, change your strategy. But not to hear out the scientists working on a subject that you’re turning into a means of influencing the world population, even though that scientist is the most prominent one, you can’t just do that! This is too much,” said Kurginyan.

According to Montagnier, vaccination is one of the solutions to the “coronavirus problem,” but not the only one.

“Why then should vaccination be turned into a super-means, into a super-ideology, thus distorting its essence, depriving vaccination of its place in the disease treatment system and destroying all other elements of this disease treatment system?” the political scientist posed a question.

In his view, this attitude means rejecting the entire timeline of scientific thought on the issue of vaccination, all of the scientific discussion that moved to a new level in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.

“All this should be discarded to return humanity to the era of Edward Jenner – Louis Pasteur or somewhere else? <…> Altogether this is ignorance,” Kurginyan concluded. He explained that for him vaccines are one of the means to overcome certain diseases, which in some cases can be indispensable, but in others – dangerous, as contemporary scientific researchers show.

In a program broadcasted on the news portal France Soir in December, 2020, Nobel Prize winner Luc Montagnier, when asked if vaccines could “poison” humans, said:

“The word ‘poison’ may be too strong. But we cannot predict what will happen in one, two, three, four, five generations after vaccination. After all, it’s century ahead. <…> Today we cannot allow children, all existing generations, even the elderly like me, to disappear because of the vaccine.”
